I think my Balloon Molly has either columnaris or fungus disease. Honestly I dont know the difference between the two. They look very similar.
The symptoms are:
White patches on the back of her body (top).
Her skin looks very, very dry.
She's the only one showing these symptoms.
I put her in a 1.6 gallon tank because it was the only one available. I've added 3 teaspoons of aquarium salt
I bought this med called super sulfa by aquatronics. it says to put one capsule per 10 NET gallons of water.
questions:
should i remove the salt before putting the med?
does anyone know this medication?
how can i measure it for 1.6 gallon of water?
any idea if this can be a different disease?
