This day keep's getting weirder. I was watcjing my 29g for loose guppy fry (can't tell who mom is?) I decided to take a break and stare at the Endlers I recieved last week. I spotted one of the smallest fry I have ever seen in my life! It was about 1/4 the size of the smallest guppy fry I have ever seen! At first I thought that this has to be a baby endler but they are too young. mabey 3 weeks old. Then It occured to me I used a pair of old Zebra Danio's to cycle the tank. Could they have bread? I assume they are egg layers and not live bearers. What would the egg mass look like? I looked for the longest time and could not spot it any more. I have jave moss and horwort heavly planted in this tank there may be more. Does this sound probible? :help:

I have accidentally "bred" danios on a few occasions...First real oopsie happened when I got a 68ish gallon tank, I planted and decorated it, stuck in filter and went on holiday...came back did a clean up and noticed that I had a coupla babies swimming about the tank...tank was new as was gravel and decor so some eggs must have hitched a ride on plants since I had no other fish in the tank at all....righto...so I wait a while....and move the inhabitants of my 20ish gallon into the 68...keep that filter running (1/4media left, rest got stuck into new tank with some gravel) so that I could quarentine some new fish coupla days later I notice fry (id them later as danios) and now I have a bizillion danios in my 68 lol...so I wouldn't put anything past them
