After finally clearing out my grow-out tanks for store credit i got a chance to lighten the bioload of my 55 gallon. After all the tank shuffling i find myself with an empty (well, two comets to keep the bacteria fed), well filtered 10 gallon tank. I want something interesting to put in it. one thought was electric blue crayfish, but im looking for other options. I just want something different and maybe colorful. any ideas?

Rams are nice indeed. I also hear good things about Tanganyika shell dwellers. I saw a few at the museum and think they would make a very interesting inhabitant for a 10 gallon.

Yes rams are nice. Also rainbow fish are nice as well.

you could put a few african dwarf frogs in it, or turn it into a tank for crabs................

sorry so slow to reply back.

i've tryed rams, but only one place in town usually has them, and theirs dont seem to be hardy at all. same story with bumble bee gobies

i wouldnt want to keep shell dwellers in a 10 gallon, just seems to cramped to me for them (i consider cichlid's needs more than other fish :p )

i do have a school of 10 dwarf rainbows without a perminent home, but dont they get like 2 inches?

would, if i can find one around here, a badis work with a few corys and 2-3 other small filler fish
