I have a 20 gallon long tank which currently holds 2 tiger loaches and 3 upside down catfish. Eventually I plant ot move the loaches over to a 55 g. In the meantime, however, I thought I might try some cichlids with them (they were too rough on my rainbowfish and my sand loach and that's how they ended up in the 20g!). So....any stocking ideas for a 20L with tiger loaches and upside down catfish? Ideally the cichlids and catfish would stay after the loaches are moved (although i do have an empty 29g they could eventually take over). Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks.

I do not know if my reply would help you in any manner - but here's my observation -
I have 3 striped loach and 1 zodiac loach, along with 2 pseudotropheus salousies and one orange colored cichlid (the name i dont know). The pseudotropheus dont seem to mind either of the loaches, BUT the orange one is hell bent upon annoying the zodiac loach - I wonder why - may be because of it's less-fishlike and more-wormlike appearance ... lol
