The other day i picked up 2 japanese trapdoor snails. both of them are a little over 1 inch (estimation, they are pretty big suckers though :P). I have them in a fish bowl now, but I was thinking of either putting them in my 10 gallon (planted, with some swords, crypts, java fern, javamoss, 4 pygmy corys, 2 platies, and a mystery snail, whish is big, but still a good amount smaller than the japanese ones), or get a 5 gallon tank and using an extra filter i have, no heater, and then maybe add some plants and a couple white clouds.
I would like to put them in my 10 gal, but im not sure if it would over stock it, or if the big snails would run all of my plants over :P.... also, the new snails wont eat my other snail will they? They are a bit bigger, but the mystery is still pretty big. Any suggestions?
