Just a quick question...can anyone tell me if the fins will grow back if another fish chews them off ??????

well it is a guppie..if that has anything to do with it....I took my newest betta (ricco) out today because I noticed that my fave guppy was missing parts of his tail :(
will it grow back in the same design...and will it take a long time to grow back ?

In good conditions, you should start seeing an improvement within 2-3 days. Complete regrowth--a week or so, depending on the amount of damage.

Really, I didnt know they grew back. A friend once told me that they dont. He has a lot of fish and says that they usually dont grow back. Does it take longer for some kind of fish, or does it depend on the water conditions for the fish?

They grow back, but you have to remove the offending fish. Your friend probably thinks they don't grow back because the fish keep chewing on each other. :p:

I want to show you guys a pic..but I dont know how...and when I did know how it said something about the pic being too large...or wrong colours or something...I took the other fish out...he's alone now

.....

if someone had msn or something..I could send a pic....

thats probably it. Since I just started I really dont know anything, so I pretty much believe anything that others tell.

the people on this site are sound, the information is second to none, i have never been given any information that would harm my fish or their enviroment. so you can trust what they tell you.
