I have a 20 G tank that currently has the following fish/snails in it:

- 5 White Clouds
- 1 Betta
- 3 Oto cats
- 2 Emerald Green Cories
- 2 Olive Nerites
- 1 MTS

I will soon be setting up a 55G tank, and I will move the Emerald Green Cories into that. I do not like them in the 20 G tank, since I feel they get too big (I was misinformed by the store about their potential size... they told me 2 inches, but I read more like 4 inches).

My question is, what fish could I add to the 20 G tank? I like small fish, and was hoping to maybe add a few Harlequin Rasboras. Do you think this is OK? And if so, how many could I add? Also, when the Emerald Green Cories are out, could I add some smaller bottom fish, like dwarf cories?

Thank you for your help!

I would go with a group of dwarf cories. They will be bottom-mid water fish, and very active. I wouldn't add the rasboras--a 20 isn't really big enough for distinct schools when the fish occupy the same part of the tank--you'll end up with a blob of white clouds and rasboras.

Well you could take out everything but the otos and add dwarf puffers. They are great. I noticed your picture so I had to suggest it. :D

Thank you for the advice... so no rasboras... I really like them, though, but maybe later in another tank...
As for dwarf puffers: I already have one tank with them. The avatar is actually one of mine... I love those guys, but one tank with them is enough (or isn't it :) )
Would it maybe be OK to add a few more white clouds, once the Emerald Green Cories are out, together with a few (maybe 4 or 5?) dwarf cories?
