ok i jsut got a 75g and i need to reseal it but my question is i wanna get a sand bottom and i wanted to know do i have to wash the sand like u do a bag of rocks???

I put the sand in a big bucket and ran water in it for a while and it still wasn't clean enough (hose was frozen so had to use the bathtub lol)
Take the time and make sure that the water runs completely clean before putting it in your tank. It was a PAIN to get my water clean since I didn't rinse the sand enough.
