My 10 gallon is cloudy and has a green tint to it. I did a 50% water change about a week ago and it didn't help any. I did a 30% water change yesterday and it still looks really crappy. I have two young angels, 4 bloodfins and a pleco in there. I even used some cloud clearing stuff and it didn't work. Any Ideas??? It has fake plants(I know I know) because I didn't feel like dealing with live plants in such a small tank plus its in the kitchen and I don't want to make too much of a mess in my mother's kitchen. TIA for any help. :)

Green means algae. Control the nutrients. Reduce feedings, increase substrate cleaning. Usually, these things will run the nutrients out and die off, but you can help by increasing your maintenance.

Thanks for the reply OG. I have fed them once in the past 3 days. I figured that it was algae. About how long does it take for it to die off? Also is there anything I can do to speed it up because the tank is in my kitchen and looks very ugly. TIA again. :)

Cleaning the substrate and water changes. Lots of both. You really can't do too many, as long as you aren't changing temp or pH drastically. The algae is currently using up nutrients that are in there now, so it's hard to say how long it will take to burn through them.

Thanks again OG. I'll make sure to clean again and keep an eye on the levels of pH and temp. Thanks again.
