I was wondering to what extent do others go to protect their tanks and equipment (pumps, filters, lights, heaters etc) from prolonged power outtages and power surges. Does anyone have backup power sources and surge protectors?
Several people here do have backup generators. I know gvct just purchased one recently. More SW people get them I think than FW...Most FW critters will survive a temperature loss that will kill SW critters.
