Which brands do you guys use for regulators?

i am planning on a 20lb bottle for 125gal tank, does anyone know about how often I will have to refill it?

DO'ng it well

The JBJ is nice. I've been using (gasp) an Azoo regulator & solenoid for the last 8 months and have no complaints, other than the lack of bubble counter. I used to have a Milwaukee before I killed it dialing in that black knob in the front. That led me towards the JBJ and Azoo brands because I didn't have to do much but attach the tank, open the main valve and set the needle valve to where I wanted.

I use a 10# on a 240 (160g actual) @ 3.5bps and the 10 pounder lasts me about 3.5-4 months. A 20# should last a fairly long time @ around 2.5 bps.

Compressed Gas Safety?

When I use to work at BNL, they had an OSHA safety course on compressed gasses. I wouldn't be able to sit in on it now, so does anyone know how I can learn not to blow my apartment wide open?

I use a JBJ and like it. I have a 2.5 lbs CO2 tank (small cabinet) and it's been running for about 3 months and I still haven't had to refill it. As to pressure safety you might check out thekrib.com. They have lots of stories on CO2 safety. An example: Don't fill your tank on a really cold day and then hop in your van and blast the heater while going down the freeway.
