Hey everyone! I will be moving into a new house soon, and have decided that I am going to sell everything fish related that I own. I'm not exactly "leaving the hobby", but I will be selling everything I currently have until I can decide how I want to do things in my new house. This will be as complete a listing as possible, so hang in there. Also remember, since I am selling tanks that are currently in operation, some things are required to be sold together (tank + filter, tank + skimmer).
The Freshwater 55 Gallon
This tank was my first experience with fishkeeping. It's come a long way in a year and I am quite pleased with it.
The tank is a 55 gallon standard tank. Purchased at Petsmart, I believe the brand is All-Glass.
Inhabitants include:
All equipment is in excellent shape. There are no scratches in the aquarium, everything is working great. Nothing is older than 1 year. Expect all equipment to be in mint condition. Bulbs in strip lights are 4 months old. This tank was dosed with SeaChem Trace Elements for 1 month, SeaChem's trace does list copper as one of the ingredients, and as I know many of you may want to use the 55 gallon as a salt tank, I wanted to make sure and let you know. I don't know if that little of dosing would affect invertabrate life, that is for you to decide.
The Saltwater 29 Gallon + Sump
This tank is VERY new. Only 1.5 months old. All equipment is of equal age (1.5 months old). The tank is drilled in the back top corners to allow for drainage and resupply from sump. Left side hole accepts 3/4" PVC, right side hole accepts 1/2" PVC. This system is already plumbed, so you are welcome to use it as-is or re-plumb.
Inhabitants:
Expect all livestock to be alive and well. No promises on the Devil's Hand, as it seems to be a little "down" these days.
The Equipment:
This tank is very new and is just starting to take off. The rock is cured, cycle is complete and I'm getting some great coralline algae growth on the rocks. The sand was recently sanded from a 4+ year old sand bed, so I'm sure there are plenty of goodies in it.
Remember, as there is so much to sell, these must be sold as packages. The freshwater tank will be one package and the Saltwater tank will be another. Each will come with their respective equipment and livestock. Because of the complexity of tank systems, I realize that it will take some time to break these tanks down and move them, because of this I will be happy to assist by pre-mixing saltwater, helping carry the tanks to your vehicle, or any other chores that are required. Any work that is required at MY LOCATION I will assist with. Weekends would work best, but I am available some nights if that is perferred. I don't have a set price I want for these packages, I'm basically just going to look at the offers I get and pick. I'm hoping to sell these within a few days, so please contact me immediately if you are interested. The (est.) prices is about the price that I paid for each item, your welcome to use this in your calculation of an offer, or you can totally ignore it.
I live in the Kansas City Metro Area (southern part of KC), so keep that in mind when making an offer.
