i have a playte, that has been doing fine except for the last 2 weeks. i noticed that she has a big arch in her back, and she doesnt seem herself. shes also getting a little skinnier, and hiding out alot. what could this be??

I just had a platy die with the exact same conditions. She had an arched back and was really skinny. I thought it might have been an internal parasite,try feeding garlic.

what kind?

like do i just take a whole piece of a garlic clove and drop it in to her??? i have never heard of useing this, so im sorry if this seems like a stupid question.

there is lots of threads around about this. Get a jar of minced garlic. Either soak food in the the juice or put in some small pieces. You can cook with the rest. Shrimp Scampi is very good. One of my favorites.
