Has anyone ever tried to feed roots with feeder tubes under the substrate? A grid of perforated 1/2" tubes under the substrate and then covered with landscape cloth to keep anything out of them and then substate over top. one end coming up past the surface to put liquid fertilizer into. Seems to me this would be a better method than putting root tabs in and winding up digging them up later with sometimes catastrophic algae problems being the result. Anyone see anything wrong with idea?
