red graciaria question

hi everone out there in cyber space. i want to use red graciaria in my sump with miracle mud. i know how good it is for tangs and angels. what i want to know is; how is it as a nutrient exporter. compared to caulerpa or chaetomorpha.

I have tried it twice, once in competition with ulva and later with chaetomorpha. In both cases the green algae outcompeted it. On the other hand, the tang and foxface like gracilaria a LOT more than chaeto.
