i already understand that the goldfish feeders arent healthy for the lion. i just want to know what else i could feed him because he seems to be rejecting what i give(frozen shrimp, clams, squid).
also, i want to know your methods of feeding.

Chunks of frozen fish, Formula One frozen food, live brine for the little ones, silversides, etc. How big is the fish? Predators do NOT need fed daily, and if he had a good meal a few days ago, won't eat for a while. Keep offering the foods, and remove them if he doesn't eat--may take several days, but he will eat. Lions can go for several weeks without food, though I prefer not to make juveniles do so. Ghost shrimp are a good live food that can be offered if the fish hasn't eaten for more than a week--make sure to gut load them with a healthy marine mix.

how about live blood worms? are they okay for the lion? all i know is that its healthier than the live fish

Live blood worms will work, though only for a small lion. Larger lions tend to ignore anything smaller than their eye. Earthworms will also be taken--but can be tough to feed and get you really close to those spines.
