Are Marble Angels a weaker breed than others?

We have a 30 gal Angelfish tank..... but only stripes and solids remain. EVRYE, and I mean EVERY marble angelfish we've bought has died while his cohorts (also bought from the same tank) have died. Basically, we have bought 3-4 "batches" of 4 angels.... 2 regular and 2 marbles. But after a week, we have ended up with 0 marbles and all stripes and solids. :mad:

I am new to angels and wondering...

I haven't had a problem h my marble, actually, she seemed stronger than the others....what is the pH in your set up?

I have a marbel angel and he is VERY hardy. Came froma tank with all the other fish dead,lives in high PH and has lived through disease.

I think that the LFS you are getting them jsut has bad stock. Try a different place or match sure the "batches" you are getting are coming from different batches of stock,not jsut getting more from the same tank.

Don't really know why the fish are dying but i say don't give up marbels are my favorites
