How to Lower Ph?

7.6 is perfect. No need to change it at all. ITs only high because its a pH test, there is also a high pH test which gose higher (different kind).

The pH up/down products included with the kint are useless. If you have just bought return it, and get a master test kit. It is only a few dollars more.

First of all you should get an acurate reading of what your ph is. Just because your test only goes to 7.6 doesn't mean it is 7.6.

Take it to your LFS and have it tested with the high range test to see, ot even better an electronic tester if they have one.

While you are there have them test your GH and KH to see what the hardness of your water is like.

After all the tests it could be as easy as adding peat pellets to the filter to buffer the water down.

Whatever your tests tell you it may not be possible to buffer the water down unless you go the RO way in which case can become expensive.
