I read a story in a 1970-something edition of Popular Mechanics about a reproter that took a test drive in a regular gas V8 running on hydrogen. They switched fuel from gasoline to hydrogen on the fly and the reporter noticed a surge of power and a quieting of the engine. Back in the 70's.

I want an aluminum and plastic Smart car that runs on hydrogen that I generate from home.

Fat chance.

Great article :)

****. Dammm ... Apparently the correct spelling is not allowed. So be it.

I mispelled "hydrogen" .. No wonder no one cares..

I'm in the market for a 4 cylinder gas miser, before they are priced at $30,000....

Is anyone mass producing a rechargable electric car?
