Who makes the brightest 24 and 18 inch 20watt fluoresent bulbs? having wired three bulbs together, I have noted that these three bulbs are likely beyond thier 'life' of 6 months.
See, before this I had three 50 watt halogen bulbs (on track lighting) some three feet above the tank... with this setup I had pearling galore, despite the color rating in the low three thousands. Strange how going to 60 watts of direct fluoresent lighting is less effective than 150 watts of low-effeciency and indirect lighting.
who makes the best/brightest bulbs? My current setup is a few coralife 6500k bulbs of unknown date and two full spectrum 24-bulb white led clusters (roughly 17watts together).
