I think the ads are random, I got a different one when I visited the link.
Also, I just came across this:
Australia warns Japan over whales http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/4574451.stm
If we could figure out how to make lamp oil, perfume, and nice leather hats out of liberal activist judges here in America we'd be doing OK and the whales/seals won't have a problem.

the problem with japan whaling and fishing is the way they do it....it's wasteful. a whale is huge and the japanese whalers throw away a lot of it. if they would use more of the whale then they would have to catch less. they only take parts of the whale and throw the rest of it away.
they do the same when they catch shark. the japanese fisherman will catch a shark, just cut off its fins and then throw the finless shark back into the sea. the shark is alive during all this. and the japanese only want the fins because they are in demand in their country. they could care less about the rest of the shark.
the inuit (i may have mispelled that i apologize) of alaska hunt seal. but the seal that they catch, they use every part of it. the skin, meat, and bones.

I read an article once where people went into a Japanese fish market and bought all the different whale meat they could, and then did genetic tests on it. They had purchased several endangered species, and two species that had not yet been identified by science yet!!!

Umm, are you suggesting that the seal hunt is a bad thing?
How would I get my Omega 3 pills without seal oil? Or flipper pie. Mmmmmmm.

I had whale before when I was in Japan, my dad paid a hefty price for a small 2lbs block of meat.
