hi i have had some driftwood soaking for 6 days so far and one piece has yet to sink what should i do about it? and i have recently collected some local rocks from my park and i was wondering what i should do before putting them into my tank? i have scrubed them with a tooth brush and i plan on soaking them in hot water any other suggestions?

Are you putting these in saltwater? Driftwood is not a good idea in saltwater, and local rocks won't have much benefit. But anyway, driftwood takes a while to sink, it will only sink when it is completly penetrated with water. You can help this process by just putting some rocks on top of the driftwood to make it stay down. And just boil the regular rocks.
