I saw a piece of red slate in someones tank on the internet, but I cannot remember where. Does anyone know where I can find this slate?

Most of the local fish stores around me carry it. Have you checked the stores around you?

I may be able to get you some for next to nothing, slate is everywhere up here in Vermont. The LFS will charge ya way too much for it. Send me a PM about what size your lookin for and I will see what I can do.
thanks, how much do you think it would cost to ship 30lbs of it? I will try some local landscaping supplies first. I would think that it would be abundent from Oklahoma and Arkansas.
