I have a wireing question for the work horse 5 balast. I have read the instructions at fulham's site (# 11). They only show hooking up 2 wires and the bulbs have 4 pins do i cross over 2 of the pins or leave them off. I stuck can any one help?

Depends on what kind of bulb you are using? I'm gonna guess powercompact... german or panasonic type connector?

Alright, it's pretty simple, however I do have one more question for your safety...

If you are using wiring diagram #11, then you are running two bulbs, I presume? Are they biax (biax = "U" shaped tube)? If so, what wattage are the bulbs?

Now to the install, when you read step #1, '1.Always connect both pin sets of the socket before connecting "RED" and "YELLOW" wires.' That is referring to the pins on either end of the tube, which in this case of powercompact bulbs, either pair of pins on either side of the "U".

So, basically, hook the red wire up to one half (right or left pair) of the pins, and the yellow wire to the other set. It's pretty hard to make a mistake.

Cheers,
