I have finally finished my 55g with the exception of maybe a few more foreground plants. I know it is probbably a bit overstocked but I do keep up with water changes, 25% every 3 days. Here is what I have
6 Platys
5 White Clouds
5 Black Phanto Tetras
4 Danios
3 Balloon Mollies
2 Blue Rams
2 Juvenille ID Sharks(looking for a new home)
1 Betta
6 Pepper Corys
3 Otos
1 Gold Nugget Pleco

I am running 2 Whisper 60 for filtration. One 200 watt heater. I am trying my luck with live plants as I only have 2 15 watt bulbs, but everything is growing like crazy so far.
Wisteria
2 Anacharis
2 Broad Leaf Hygo
2 Hygro Polysperma
Vallisneria Spiralis
Cryptocoryne Lucens
Aponogeton Longipumulosus
Java Fern
Amazon Sword
Anubias
Cabomba

I feed a very generous feeding once a day. Does this all sound fine or am I missing something?

Boohoo, since you asked....what kind of substrate, ferts are you using? What are your water stats? I'm only asking out of curiousity, not out of necessity, since everything seems to be going great!

I'm am not sure whether you are over stocked at this point, since you have such as large tank.

Sure wish you could post a photo. I bet it is a great tank! Lots of variety, color and activity!

Pl*co, I will try and get a half decent picture to post as soon as possible. It is a very colorful and active tank. I've got all areas covered with fish. My substrate is just small natural gravel(from walmart) with natural river pebbles on top. I havn't fertilized yet. Also I do not inject with CO2. I'm not sure what you mean by water stats but my
