Using liquid ferts at different times of day

Hey all,

I just picked up a bottle of seachem flourish at my lfs and i was wondering if time of day makes any difference in the plants absorbtion. I'm fairly new to aquariums in general, so i'm unfamiliar with the plant cycle. When do they uptake nutes and stuff?
 
24/7, but obviously when they are most 'active' is optimum, IMO.
I dose during the day, the earlier the better.
