eating snails

You will need to give more specifics on the tank. What size, planted, how many other fish in there?
No Clowns aren't the only. Others like the smaller Striata Loach will, the Yo Yo loach will, along with most other small ones. Anyway, hope this helps and good luck!
It is a 75 gallon tank. Which will eventually be a discus community tank. With 4-5 large discus. Right now there are:
8 green corys
18 rummy-nose tetra
5 amano shrimp 2 or over 1 1/2" now
Thats all for now, I like the clown loach but I know they get big and I dont know when I will be getting another tank.

Yes, try yoyo or zebra loaches. They stay much smaller, get 4-5 of them if you want no snails. I don't know if they will also try to eat the shrimp though.
