I just got back from the fish store with five new black neon tetras. Except that only four of them look like black neons. The fifth one has a yellow stripe over the black one and it also has a bit of a red spot at the base of its tail. Any ideas what this is? Also, should I worry about him, or just assume he'll school with the other tetras?

It doesn't really look like a bloodfin. He's got a black stripe running his length and the red bit doesn't extend as far up the body as the pictures I could find of bloodfins.

Well, that's pretty much what I was hoping for, so that's good. That means I can just get some more black neons later on to flesh out the school and not worry about it. Perhaps I'll get some other interesting color morphs--it's cool to have the variety.
