I witnessed the coolest thing last night I think thus far with my tank. My cleaner shrimp are always pregnant and usually have babies about once a month. I just never witnessed the actual eggs hatching. There were shrimp all OVER the tank. :thm:

Has anyone had success raising these in a separate tank? If so what did you feed them and what type of filtration did you have on the tank?

Thanks in advance!

Congrats!

Never did it myself, but I did read April Kirkendall's book "How to Raise and Train Your Peppermint Shrimp," (http://www.lysmatapublishing.com/shrimp.html) when I was thinking about running off to do aquaculture. For peps, she just used airstones and a lot of water changes, and fed them brine shrimp nauplii. She tried cleaners as well, but they take longer to settle.

There are a few old records in the Breeder's Registry (http://www.breedersregistry.org/lamboinensis.htm) you might look through.

No firsthand info, I'm afraid.
