:hi: yes, as many of you guys know, i've tried and tried, and the moment i just let it go and let nature over, i have eggs :thm:

however they are brown eggs, not sure if this is good. i've search the forum since i know many had asked about the color of the eggs but did not find the topics.

anyway, white or brown?

now what?

how long? if they live.

I would say "light brown" to light yellow, at least from my pairs of rams:

and take about 2, 3 days for them to hatch to wigglers. About half day before the hatching, you should notice dark "eye spots" inside the good eggs. The fungus eggs will be white and usually would be removed by the parents.

The wigglers will take another couple of days to become free swimming.

Congratulation, and don't feel bad if they don't success in raising the fries this time: From now on, every 8 or 10 days you should have a new batch! (I don't know how to stop mine yet!)

cool. i'm so exited. the female keeps hovering over the eggs. chasing anything and everything away from them.

again, this might be a bad batch. dark brown not light nor beige

but i'm excited that there is a pair in there.

also, i believe my honey gouramies have a bubble nest. not sure will keep ya posted

ok, day light much better view of the eggs, yes they are beige!

laid on sunday sometime, and expecting to be wiggly swimmers no later than thursday? i think and hope.

Hey Wildiana, congratulations. I love those little guys. Can you tell us about the set up, where they laid the eggs, water params, cleaning and feeding schedules etc.?

Haha! I was banking on your water not being "ideal" for these guys. Thanks for posting that! Gives me some hope of breeding them myself.
