Which media player do you guys like to use on your PC. I want a good one that I dont have to download and pay for all the plug ins just to get it to work.

WMP works just fine for me. And it comes with the XP system.

Me too...

WMP.

ditto, WMP with nvidia dvd decoder.

I use Windows Media Edition, has a nice frontend for a HTPC.

Plugins for playing what ?

I don't recall paying for any of them, and I have a fairly substancial media collection (ahem)

I think the general exception would be visualization plugins.. there are plenty of those that you can pay for..

and I personally use WMP... at least under windows anyway.

I use Media Player Classic for video, and iTunes for audio.

Well, it does require a couple plugin's, it wont play DVDs, quicktime, or real player videos.

The nvidia dvd decoder is the best on the market right now, and you can get quicktime and realplayer alternative for free.

Even with paying for the nvidia dvd decoder, wmp has by far the most capabilities per dollar.
