Can you use Photos plant (Epipremnum aureum) in a fish tank?

It would grow nicely in a pot with the bottom touching the water. It will soon die if it is submerged. If you want something for suface fish to hide in you could grow it as I mentioned before and the roots will grow down into the water. I water my Epipremnum aureum by setting the pot on top of my filter. I get roots out the bottom of the pot if I leave it there too many days. :)
