I'd probably go with a single paradise fish and a trio of pygmy cories. That would be pushing it--especially with such a small surface area for gas exchange.
The fewer, the merrier in your case. The tank you have has really small surface area for gas exchange. Probably better get those fishes that aren't overly active.
WHOA! Thats awesome! Get a good bubblers for it and few fishes he he. Were you able to find out how many gallon it holds?
I've been planning on making an aquairum out of a monitor.
Fun fun project for me to do.

I think you can keep a pretty decent number of fishes in there as long temp is cool enough so theres good gas exchange at the surface and that the fishes will be always small. You always can do an experiement to see how many fishes you can have in there.
I think a monitor would make a great little aquairum. I have this huge crt that I want to sell but if nobody buy it, i'll just turn it into an aquairum.. makes a nice sized one for guppies or dwarf puffers.... It'll be a fun project though!
My husband has computer cases all over the place....he's a computer nerd/geek...lol....
How did you do that and what did you use for the "glass" ? I think I would like to give something like that a try....maybe some of the teachers at my school would be interested in a neat "oddball" style aquarium. One of the teachers had a 130gallon given to him and has it set up in his class. No fish yet, waiting for the fall...but it'll be a saltwater fish only setup. oO(no one evergives ME stuff like that...whine whine, cry cry)
