I added a few ghost shrimp to my container pond full of anacharis and duckweed.

Will they survive?

I've been considering the same thing- I'm more worried about them just simply climbing out.

I think they should be fine as long as the pond gets some shade and doesnt over heat.

It's one of those 36 gallon pre formed patio ponds.

The guy at the LFS also gave me a bluefin killifish that was in with the ghost shrimp.

So I put it in the pond also along with a small blue tilapia I have.

There are also some bugs and worms that came in on the plants but I figure the fish and shrimp will eat them.
