I have a problem with discoloured water in a brackish tank. Water is yellowish brown. Any ideas on how to clear the water. SG is 1.005. I'm using an Aquaclear 300 filter on a 33 Gallon tank. Tank has been set up about 2 months all occupants and materials were transferred from a 25 gallon that was set up for over a year.
All cleared up now. Changed carbon, vacumed substrate, removed rock that may have been leaching. Don't know which cured problem but problem is gone.
