Has anyone ever kept more than 1 blackghostknife in a tank???if so what were your results, i know your not supposed to keep more than one because of their electrical uses. But if the fish store keeps more than 1 in a 10 gallon im sure 2 ina 55 gallon wouldnt hurt right? And of course i know they do get big right now i have a knife thats about 8 inches, but the lil 1 inchers are so tiny and cute!but anywho if youve kept more than one holla!Much love

55 gallon is too small for 2. The larger one will actively search out and destroy the smaller one. This goes with any electric fish....no keeping more than one of ANY electric fish. The electrical fields does interfere with each other. You can have more then one....but you do need a LARGER tank.

As long as you dont have or will be getting any finnippers. That could kill the ghost (since most of the body is fin...)

NO.... do not do it, BGK's are way too nice of a fish to waste that way. killing them needlessly is stupid, and that would probably wind up killing one..........

What kind of algae eater is it? Chinese? I have one and was thinking of getting rid of it eventually. They say they will become aggressive and suck on fish. He dosen't bother anyone yet. I say try the way you want with the BGKs. If it goes good for you then great. Not everything everyone tells you is the norm that will not turn out ok for you. I have had fish together with other fish that I've been told not put with and they have lived happily together for a few years now. I have had tiger barbs with a BGK for all that time. They never bothered him. And if you think of it when the BGKs are in pet stores *all together* they seem to be eating.
