ok looks like i have some wood frog eggs in my pond but i have 6 goldfish about 2-3.5in. long including 2 koi and the eggs may hatch soon. should i go out and buy a net breeder thing to put them in? it's on clearance at petsmart for $2.45. thanx whoever replies

Ummm.... I always liked to save money, why not try making some sort of shelter or something where the tadpole can hide from the goldfish until they are mature enough to leave? Let the surivival instinct in them come out?
I've never done anything like this but just an idea.

k thanx but i already have the fish in the pond and it was too much of a hassle to clean the pond out (mosquito larvae died there they were so numerous the water was brown nasty isnt' it) but would it be better to place something out there where the tadpoles can go into?

or i could take out that piece of anacharis with the eggs on it and place it in a breeder tank that's really tiny until then but what would i feed em? i tried fish food once and i've had tadpoles eat betta bit food from tetra after being grinded up
