I have to reseal my 30 gallon. UGH! This means removing all fish to another tank first. This means throwing 7 medium tetras, 2 dwarf gouramis and a couple algae eaters into a 10 gallon with the five neon tetras already in there. Do you think this is safe temporarily?

define "temporarily"...
If you are going to do the reseal job in a day, and allow a day or two for teh new silicone to cure properly and all that jazz, then a day to test, then you're looking at upwards of a week with alot of fish in a not so big tank.
If you have to do it best recommendation on my part would be daily water changes of around 20%. But then again I have so many tanks around my house I'd just set up a hospital tank .. er.. hotel tank.. for them.

I think you'll be okay for a week. If you are worried, you could go get a plastic tub at walmart.
