is an air pump absolutesly needed for healthy fish in a 25gallon, or does it not make a big difference?

An air pump is not needed in any tank as long as you have a good power filter.Gas exchange takes place where the water spills out of the filter.Generally air pumps are for asthetic reasons.However an air pump will add a negledgeable amount of oxygen.
