Goldie Pleco...

Does anyone have one of these plecos. What are they like?

I just saw a adult 11" in my lfs and it looked absolutely fantastic. It wasn't shy at all and was a great looking fish. There are several juvenile goldie in the store as well.

I am considering picking on up. In one year, when i move i am planning on get a 55 gallon take or more. But right now all i have is a 10 gallon with 2 albino cories 2 adf and some amano shrimp.

I know they grow slowly, how long will the juvenile be okay in my 10 gallon? Right now they are about 2".

I would hold off for the time being. The 10 gallon is too small, and you never know, something may change and you do not end up getting the larger aquarium. Once you get the larger aquarium, I am sure that your LFS could order you a goldy or you could get one on aquabid :)
