mushrooms falling???

i have a good size piece of rock (5inx10in) covered in purpleish mushrooms. it looks like the one on the end of the rock are falling off. is this normal? and should i move on to another flat rock for them to grow onto?? thanks again mike

It is probably reproducing, they will move and leave behind a peice of themselves that will grow into a new shroom. If it falls off the rock, just pick it up and put it where you want it and it will probably stay there.

Perfectly normal. If reproducing, overcrowded, unhappy with current placement, etc, mushrooms will bail and let the current take them elsewhere.
