I just got an anemone in my 29 gallon tank. Is it supposed to come off it's rock ? He came off , but now he (she,it?) went back on. I would greatly appreciate any info on anemones. I also have an anemone crab, but they didn't come together. Help Please.

Anemones will definately travel around a tank until they find a spot they are happy with. If you have corals, this can be an issue. They need lots of light, preferably metal halide, really good water quality and in general, most do not do well in captivity. I would immediately do an internet search on the variety of anemone that you have and find out all you can to increase its odds of survival. Nicole, I honestly don't mean to be a wiseguy, but it's better to do the research before you buy something, especially a living creature. Good luck!
