I have a 36 gallon hex freshwater community tank with a pleco, some rasbora, etc.... very mild mannered fish - about 10 fish. Want to get two small cichlids that are easily bred but I have a feeling I'm inviting disaster by putting them all together. Need input.
Also, would like inexpensive cichlids that breed readily. Suggestions?

Are you sure these cichlids will live in a community environment even after they have fry. Also, Dave, how do fish get "sent" through the mail?

They will but make sure it’s a planted tank and have lots of places to hide. Shipping is very easy I use breathable bags, which makes it very safe for the fish. A fish can live for like month in a breathable bag, been documented! it only starves to death. You know Rams are another good choice. Like these guys, some German Gold rams crossed with Wild Colombian yellow rams.
