For how long plants can live in a tank? Of course we good care. I mean can they live for years like regular plants? I have bulbs that are growing. I also have anacharis, hornwort, waterlily, onion, barclaya, aponogeton, microsword, I forgot the name of the other two, one of them are bulbls and they grwo like stem that goes all the way to the top of the water where the leaves grow, and the other one like a hard short trunk and it grows like sword leaves that are green in the inside of the leaf and cream in the borders (it got them at PEtco, it's one of those plants that come in agel thing)

Thanks

you mean THIS ONE?

If thats the plant that came in a gel it will die.
Those plants in a tube are just a bunch of bull crap.
I wasted 9$ for 2 tubes and later discovered that all these Tubes contain non aquatic plants :(

Most aquatic plants live forever if they are in a hospitable environments.

The stem plants such as Horwort and anacharis continue getting longer, so cuttings can be used to mutiply the plants easily.

Apons generally have a dormant period, but if well nourished while they are in active growth they will recover and regrow - otherwise they just never respout and eventually rot.

Onions, if Crinums, are forever. They put off offsets, but don't be in too big a hurry to divide them, they need some size before division. They are large plants with massive but fragile root systems.

Microsword is a bit demanding of light and nutrients, but multiplies fairly fast.
