5 gal hood & light?

I have a 5 gallon that houses plants only and even though it's sitting in a window it's still not getting enough light. I can't seem to find hoods that small though. Anybody know if they exist and where I can find them?

You might have to fabricate something to hold a commercialy available fixture fitted with bulbs made for plant growing. It will not fit on the tank but it can be suspended above it.

ive had a tank that small and i used screw in flourescents. you can rig something up using the small 6 inch compact flourecents otherwise get something made for the nanoreefs.

Thanks ya'll. Funny, I can work on my own car but when it comes to doing anything electrical I'm a typical girl. :s Might just buy a small desk lamp and put a gro-lite in it...

Although I'll be looking for alternative lighting for my 15 gal high that's currently cycling and will eventually sit underneath my 20 g. Maybe the 5 gal would be good practice for me.
