Is it okay to feed fish live zooplankton collected from a pond or lake?
I live in North Carolina if that helps.
Thanks

I know nothing about this  , but if I remember correctly, parasites are an issue when feeding live food. I'm sure someone who knows will chime in :)

I wouldn't do it. If you want to feed them zooplankton, you can buy it in a few different forms that are safe.

i live in north carolina too, and my answer is an emphatic "no!!"
as was mentioned before, parasites are not fun to deal with. and unfortunately, there's usually no way to visually be sure if there are any parasites in your batch of zooplankton. there's also no telling what other sorts of silly things are in the water around here.

I wouldn't use it either...grow/raise your own.
