For those of you that have this stuff, can you tell me what the dosing is for each? I haven't really been able to find it online, the best I get is x size bottle treats x gallons, and my math just isn't very good :p: . Just interested in amount needed per gallon

Prime is a much better investment, it goes a LONG way. 500 ml bottle treats 5000 gallons of water. More than any other, and a bottle of that will only cost you about $10 (10,000 gals if your water temp is 86 or higher) Its the best on the market as far as I am concerned.

Amquel is 1/10th of teaspoonful per gallon. If you're trying to dose a small tank (< 5g) just mix 1/2 tsp of amquel + 1 1/2 tsp of water. Then add 1/2 tsp of the mix per gallon. They make 1/8 tsp measuring spoons...why can't they make 1/10?? :p:

my amquel says 1 teaspoon(5mL) per 10 gallons, so say your tank is 55g then you would need 5 1/2 tsp.

I agree about Prime. I use it in all my tanks and its the best investment by far. I get the 8.5 fl oz (250 mL) for about $9. One capful treats 50 gallons or 5mL treats 50 gallons
Great stuff if you ask me!!!

I just wish you didn't have to mix up potions everytime you do a water change, but it sounds like thats the only option huh?!?! I've grown partial to the more generic stuff that is 5 drops/ gallon for example :o . but I want a better quality dechlor. too.

I just use a medicine dropper (accurate measurement) for dosing Prime. I add it to the tank as I fill with a Python. Couldn't be easier. :)

I just fill some barrels with water and let the chlorine gass off with agitation. No additives necessary.
