I can hardly keep the house under 80* and it has only been in the low 90s outside. But I am having a hard time keeping my tank in the green range of temps. I can't keep changing water out every day, and that only brings the tank down a degree or two anyway. How careful do I need to be? I leave the light off all of the time now, the curtians are closed so the sun doesnt shine in too much. Is there anything more I can do? Every once in a while, I drop in an ice cube or two. During the day, I am leaving the top of the tank closed to help keep out the heat of the room, and at night I have been opening the top and covering it with a screen so that the slight drop in night time temps can touch the water. I just worry so much about the little guys! I want to keep them healthy and happy.
