new to bio spira and i added it wrong. i put into my 29gal and i just dumped it in there instead of adding it to my biological filter! will it still work? or do i have to go get some more? will temperature affect the bacteria growth?
Yes, its the best thing to do. The bacteria should catch on and start to grow.hb3133 said:Can Bio-Spira be added after starting a cycle with fish?
Here is the best place on the web for it: http://fishstoretn.com/bio_spira.htmlLarissa said:don't mean to hijack your thread but I did a web search on biospira and couldn't find it to buy. where do you get it?
Yes, it will be fine. The bacteria will gorw on anything it can stick too. The hotter them temp (up to about 85-90F I think) the faster the bacteria will grow. When you first add the Bio Spira you should be adding a full fish load. If you dont, you will need to slowy stock every week.bubbles42151 said:new to bio spira and i added it wrong. i put into my 29gal and i just dumped it in there instead of adding it to my biological filter! will it still work? or do i have to go get some more? will temperature affect the bacteria growth?
