couldnt find one anywhere, finally i decided to go to ebay, even though i am very skeptical to shipping fish, i did it anyway. two days later, this lil critter shows up. you can see how small it is. the latest pics i got it seemed like it was posing for me!! :D

it was actually very cheap it was on Ebay for 5.99 plus shipping. i paid 19.04 total with shipping and all!!hes kinda small, but he'll grow!!

Wow...they got kind of a crappy live arrival guarantee! I'm glad to see you got him alive & well. Does he get as big as a common pleco?

Yeah it is scary for the "no-guarantee" but i bit the bullet and took the chance as that was the only place i could find one. plus it was way cheaper than the albino Gibbiceps i am waiting for.

but the wierd part is the U.S.P.S. shipping
i kept checking the tracking number to see when to expect it, and nothing till after it showed up. jkinda suxs if you need to rely on the tracking to know when to expect it so you can be there ya know.

it showed up at my work at 12:08PM i was at lunch at the time. no one knew it was there. i didnt see anything from the tracking so i didnt expect it would be there yet. i went home that night 6.5 hours later and check my email to see that it was delivered at 12:08PM i rushed back to work and looked all over, found it in the accounting office sitting there. i rushed it back home and adapted temps to it. then dropped it in. healthy as can be wandering all over the tank attaching to everything!!

What a cute little guy/gal...for a pleco...lol......I'm not usually very fond of plecos, but this one's pretty cool ! :dance:

I don't think it has ich. I think there might be dust on the cameral lens. (notice the tiny white spots on the rocks too). Nice fish, I think he gets large, but it will take a long time.

cool pleco! i saw these at my lfs, they were only about 2 inches long. but i didnt get one because 1) i dont know how big they will get
2) i already have plecos and wasnt sure if it would get along with my clown plecos.
